24 Hours of Flickr

24hrs_flickr

Saturday found Alistair out and about taking photos for the 24 Hours of Flickr event, a day-long global photo project, where Flickr members were asked to go out and get busy with their cameras, and to submit their favourite shot to the Flickr group.

The best shots will go into the 24 Hours of Flickr book, and get shown at Flickr events around the world this summer. So far the group photopool has some distinct themes - we've noticed a lot of animals, cute babies, plants, macro shots, as well as a heck of a lot of shots of booze. Generally though it's a fascinating photographic glimpse of what was going on across the planet on one particular day in 2007.

Alistair's shots from the day are here.
