George Monbiot is a journalist, author, academic, and environmental and political activist. He writes a weekly column in the Guardian, and specialises in cutting to the chase when it comes to the big issues of our time, particularly climate change, whilst always backing his arguments up with fantastic attention to detail.

We love his work, so it was a real pleasure to work on a cover for this collection of his writings. The brief was to create something iconic – so we figured we’d focus on the fact that this book feels like a warning to humanity.
